Dr. Jerry Horner

Dr. Jerry Horner has been a university professor and administrator since 1962. He has served as the president of Bethesda Christian college in Anaheim, California, the dean of Peniel College of Higher Education in Brentwood, Esses, England, the dean of the School of Theology at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK and he was the founding dean of the School of Divinity at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. In addition he was the chairman of the theology departments at Oral Roberts University and Southwest Baptist University. 

Dr. Horner received the B.A. degree from Union University and the B.D., M.Div., and Th.D degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also did postgraduate studies at Manchester University and Cambridge University, England. 

He is the author of many books and articles in theological and educational journals, commentaries, Biblical encyclopedias and dictionaries, and other publications. He is the New Testament editor of the highly acclaimed Spirt-Filled Life Bible. 

He is listed in numerous biographical publications, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Religion, and Who's Who in American Education. In 1999 he received the prestigious Christian Statesman of the Year award, presented by the Third World Leadership Association.
